Why subscribe with us
Specialty coffee at its best is a moving target. The lot you fell in love with in February is sold out by April. Each harvest finishes a different shape every year, and the best micro-lots leave the farm in lots of forty kilos.
A subscription is the cleanest way to keep up. We do the chasing — the relationships with producers, the cup scoring at origin, the timing of arrivals — and you get the result on your kitchen counter, on a schedule.
We discount it because it lets us roast smarter, but we don't run subscriptions as a clearance mechanism. Every bag we send a subscriber is a bag we'd send a friend.
Frequently asked
Can I skip a delivery?
Yes — log in to your account, go to Subscriptions, and click Skip on the next renewal. We email you three days before each delivery as a heads-up. Skipping is one click; no need to email us.
Can I change the coffee or grind size?
Yes. From your account you can swap the coffee style for a single round, or change it permanently. You can also choose whole bean, espresso grind, filter grind, AeroPress grind, or French press grind, and change it whenever you like.
How is the 15% discount applied?
It's built into the subscription price — £12.50 for a blend that's £14.50 retail, £12.95 for a single origin that's £15.50 retail. You don't enter a code; the saving is on the price you see.
How is freshness guaranteed?
We roast Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Subscription bags are roasted to order on the next roast day after your billing date and dispatched within 48 hours of roast. Royal Mail Tracked 48 puts most UK addresses 2–3 days from there.
How does the gift card work?
Choose an amount, add the recipient's email and a message at checkout, and they receive a voucher by email with a unique code. They spend it on anything at ESPRĒN — coffee, equipment, or a subscription — and the balance applies at checkout. It's a one-off purchase with no auto-renew.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No. Standing Pour is recurring with skip, pause or cancel between any two deliveries. The gift card is simply a one-off purchase — no commitment, redeemed whenever suits.
