Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of espren.co.uk and any orders you place with us. Please read them carefully.

About us

This website is operated by ESPRĒN LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 17142221, with registered office at 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA. Contact: espren.uk@gmail.com.

Use of the site

By using our website you agree to use it lawfully and not to misuse it (for example, by attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping content for commercial purposes, or interfering with its operation).

Accounts

You may create an account to make ordering easier. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

Orders and contract formation

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send a dispatch confirmation email — at that point, a contract is formed. Until then, we may decline an order at our discretion (for example, due to stock or pricing errors).

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at the point of order. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch.

Delivery

We currently ship to UK addresses only. Estimated delivery times and costs are shown at checkout and on our Shipping Policy page. Risk passes to you on delivery; title passes once full payment is received.

Right to cancel

For most goods, UK consumers have the right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. However, freshly roasted coffee is roasted to order and is therefore considered "made to your specification" — the statutory cancellation right does not apply once we have begun roasting, in line with regulation 28(1)(b).

You may still cancel your order before we begin roasting by emailing espren.uk@gmail.com as soon as possible after ordering. See our Refund Policy for full details, including faulty or damaged goods.

Subscriptions

Subscription orders renew automatically at the frequency you select. You can pause, skip, swap, or cancel at any time before the next renewal via your account or by emailing us.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Subject to that, our liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example, supplier failures, courier disruption, or natural events).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page.
